The Angels Did the Right Thing Signing Mike Trout

Doug Gottlieb isn’t a fan of long term deals in sports but he thinks the Angels’ deal with Mike Trout is an exception. While they did overpay, it will provide them some leverage to get a new stadium deal and will keep their fans happy. Not to mention they keep the best player in baseball on their squad for the foreseeable future.
