With starting quarterback Daniel Jones going down due to injury over the weekend, and a knee injury for backup Riley Leonard making his status for Sunday’s game against the Seattle Seahawks unknown, the Indianapolis Colts are considering bringing in retired 44-year-old QB Philip Rivers who hasn’t played in the NFL since 2020. Dan is convinced Rivers will probably need a walker and assistance crossing the street just to get to the game.
Dan Patrick: “Philip Rivers could be Riley Leonard’s dad…It’s not like Philip Rivers lost arm-strength or mobility because he didn’t have either one of them. And you’re going to have him in Seattle against that defense? Oh, God. He’s going to be arriving in a walker and then, you know like, Seattle’s defense is going to be helping him up, you know, walking him to the curb here across a crosswalk.”
