Governor Applauds College Board Decision To Open Campuses

Governor Reeves says the State College Board made the right decision in announcing plans to reopen the campuses at the eight state-supported universities this fall. The board adopted a resolution today stating its intent for the universities to resume normal operations next semester while following the guidelines of health officials to limit the spread of coronavirus. They're being urged to offer as many in-person classes as possible. The governor says it's clear though that things won't be the same on the campuses as they were last fall.
