Sharp Drop In Coronavirus Cases, But Dobbs Says It's Probably Not A Trend

Mississippi on Monday saw the smallest daily increase in coronavirus cases in two weeks, but the state's top health official warned not to get your hopes up. Dr. Thomas Dobbs said there are often fewer test results available following a weekend and said the Health Department will continue to monitor infections to see if a trend actually develops. The department reported 653 new cases pushing the total since March to the brink of 53,000.
