Rolling Average For Daily COVID Cases In MS Drops Below 1000


A week after putting a statewide face mask mandate into effort, Gov. Reeves announced today that Mississippi's seven-day rolling average for daily coronavirus cases has dropped below 1000. Reeves says he believes in "positive reinforcement" and says he's convinced that increased mask usage has led to the decrease. The average number of cases peaked on July 30 at 1361.
