Crossing the Mississippi River cost Tropical Storm Delta some of its spunk. Shortly after pushing into Mississippi Saturday morning, the storm was downgraded to a tropical depression. It's forecast to track across north Mississippi and move out of the state early Sunday. The storm, packing winds gusting at over 50 miles an hour, left behind a lot of tree damage in western Mississippi. Adams County is reporting hundreds of trees down, some falling on homes. Warren County had about three dozen fallen trees and Claiborne County about two dozen.
