Heavier Snowfall Now Predicted In Some Parts Of MS

The National Weather Service is now predicting two to three inches of snow for portions of Mississippi beginning Sunday night. The band of heavier snow is forecast to extend from Vicksburg to south of Greenville and to the northeast to include cities like Belzoni, Yazoo City and Greenwood. Along and near the Natchez Trace, NWS is still forecasting one to two inches of snow with similar amounts in Greenville and Cleveland. The snow is expected to taper off Monday morning.
