Reeves: Mississippi Passing COVID "Milestone"

Governor Reeves called it an "historic milestone" and a "turning point" in Mississippi's fight against coronavirus. With the shots being given on Tuesday, the number of people vaccinated in the state will have eclipsed the total number of coronavirus cases in Mississippi. Almost 283,000 people have been infected. Tuesday morning, the Health Department reported almost 280,000 Mississippians at least partially vaccinated with the number continuing to climb.
