Mississippi Administers One Millionth Dose Of COVID Vaccine

Governor Reeves announced Monday that Mississippi has administered its one millionth COVID-19 vaccination. Reeves visited one of the state drive-through vaccination sites in Pearl to make the announcement. He said about 365-thousand Mississippians are now fully vaccinated.  The governor said the light at the end of the coronavirus tunnel is now "a little brighter".  He pointed out that Mississippi is one of the few states where anyone 16 and older who wants a shot can get one.
