Herd Hierarchy: Colin Cowherd Ranks the 10 Best NFL Teams After Week 11

Houston Texans v Baltimore Ravens

Colin Cowherd Ranks the 10 Best NFL Teams After Week 11 – November 19th (Full Video at Bottom of Page)

10. Kansas City Chiefs (7-4): "What do the Chiefs do well? I love Andy Reid's play designing and I love Patrick Mahomes' talent but they're 26th in total defense and 30th in rush defense. I'm sorry but if you can't get New England, Baltimore, or Indianapolis off the field you're not winning any playoff games. Last night their defense had 4 interceptions and yet the Chargers were going for the tie with 18 seconds left."

9. Oakland Raiders (6-4): "The Raiders do more things well than the Kansas City Chiefs. Their offensive line is better and they have allowed the second fewest sacks. They're also tied for fourth in giveaways with only 10 all year -- THEY DON'T TURN IT OVER. They're healthier than Kansas City, run the ball better than Kansas City, and now they have won 5 of their last 7; and have gone up against teams like Chicago and pushed them around. This is a real Raiders team and I was totally wrong on them. Mike Mayock has done an incredible job."

8. Dallas Cowboys (6-4):I dropped them. They've got issues defensively if Jeff Driskel just gave you problems and you couldn't beat Kirk Cousins in primetime. Their defense is 21st in takeaways and haven't forced a turnover in two weeks. They don't make the opposing quarterback uncomfortable anymore."

7. Minnesota Vikings (8-3): “This is a weird team. They have won 6 of their last 7 games but they fell behind 20-0 against Denver and only rushed for 37 yards in that game. I love their talent and love their roster but I still don't trust them. Kirk Cousins is 4-8 versus teams .500 or above since the beginning of last year. They've like a cold weather Chargers."

6. Green Bay Packers (8-2): "Don't love them but I like them. They finally have a running game to go with Aaron Rodgers, but their defense doesn't intimidate anyone. Opposing offenses will impose their will on them, and I think good teams will be able to run all over them."

5. San Francisco 49ers (9-1): "Their defense is great but these off script quarterbacks like Russell Wilson and Kyler Murray ran around and showed you that SF's defense is a little bit vulnerable. They desperately need George Kittle back for them; he's their Gronk. They're not running the ball as well as they were earlier in the year and it's why I have them at five."

4. Seattle Seahawks (8-2): “I have them above San Francisco because I trust Russell Wilson to make a play at the end of a game more than anyone in the league not named Tom Brady. He's running the best two-minute drill in the NFL, is completing nearly 70% of his passes, and now has Josh Gordon to throw to. They've only lost to the Ravens and the Saints, and Jadeveon Clowney and Gordon weren't in those games."

3. New England Patriots (9-1): “They don't have a deep threat but are they going to need a deep threat in January at Foxboro when it's 9 degrees and snowing sideways? They still have the best coach in football, the best secondary, an 'A' defense, 'A' experience, 'A' coordinators, and I still really like them."

2. New Orleans Saints (8-2): “They've turned the ball over just once in their last six games. Outside that ugly loss in Atlanta they have finally figured out that pass-rush ratio thing and have become a power running team, with a hall of fame quarterback, Alvin Kamara, Michael Thomas, and a very good offensive line. They've got a great pass rush and have done a wonderful job building that defensive line the last few years."

1. Baltimore Ravens (8-2): “They're hot, healthy, and humming. This offense is very unique and they are so hard to practice for. They've won six straight and remind me a lot of that Cam Newton-led Carolina Panthers team that got to the Super Bowl. There's a Mike Tyson thing to them where they feel great and they know they're coming after you. They give you so many matchup problems. Lamar Jackson has 7 straight games rushing over 60 yards and is completing 66.3% of his passes. They're finally getting healthy and upgraded at corner with Marcus Peters."
