The Cleveland Cavaliers swept the Miami Heat last night in historic fashion, blowing them out by 50+ points in Game 4 of their first round series last night. Miami has become the Pittsburgh Steelers of the NBA, almost always good enough to make the playoffs but rarely good enough to actually compete for a championship. Miami is a great place to live but their recent performances are redefining what “Heat Culture” means, and not in a good way.
Dan Patrick: “Cavaliers blowout the Miami Heat. Boy, so much for ‘Heat Culture…’ When I saw that it was 43-17, I go, ‘OK, I’m going to guess the Cavaliers are probably going to move on. Just a guess but I think they’re going to be able to move on from the Miami Heat and “Heat Culture.”’”
