Will the Thunder become NBA's next DYNASTY?

Kelvin Washington and Martin Weiss discuss whether or not OKC is built to be NBA's next dynasty. Kelvin believes OKC at minimum will win one more title and possibly more over the next half decade, while Martin doesn't buy into the dynasty talk because they won't be able to keep all their stars happy.

Kelvin Washington:

"I think this team is going to go at the minimum on a Boston Jayson Tatum/ Jaylen Brown run, where we're five six years Eastern Conference, we went to a finals, we won one. We lost one. But had a run where they are like always in the mix. And again, walked away with the Championship. That's the minimum run. When we're in the Western Conference Finals, we get to a finals or two or three. We win one or two. That's the minimum run to me that I expect this team to be on. To win at least one more, now that they won one yesterday. I expect one more title. And for them to be at least competing for a handful of years. I think they're built well when I see two wings like that or who are defensive minded, but can also score. You got Chet, who's only going to get better, and you got the perfect pieces around them. And again, I expect them to win one more minimally and to be in that mix of the next, we'll call it a half decade, five years or so."

Martin Weiss:

"What happens now when Jalen Williams hears all the stuff that people keep talking about and they call him Scottie freakin Pippen, which by the way is insanity. I'm not going for it, but ya'll keep saying it so he's gonna hear it. And he goes into Sam Presti's office and says, you know Scottie Pippen needs the full max. I'm the one that went for 40 in a finals game. Yep. Your MVP didn't do that. And what happens when Chet Holmgren says you've got two guys already ball dominant I'm the one that blocked five shots in the game seven of the Finals and sealed the backside of this defense. I'm the one who's not replaceable. I'm going to need the full max here. I'm not saying any one of these guys has any of that in them, but when that bag comes calling, money changes folks. All of those things will come into play and when you have this team that is so tight knit there's not been one single person who's talked about a business reality in Oklahoma City in two and half years because none of them have had to pay any money like the business reality that they were going through is we're building up these young players. Now they're about to get to the business reality of we're not gonna be able to keep them all."
