Philadelphia Eagles top WR AJ Brown has made it known he wants to see more targets on the field, and we all know how disruptive he can be when he isn’t getting his way, so the Eagles made a clear effort to feature him during their game against the Broncos, and it did not go well. Changing your offensive rhythm just to keep your diva WR happy is a sure way to throw the whole offense out of whack and lose football games.
Doug Gottlieb: “AJ Brown is such a gigantic pain in the backside that they’re like, ‘Fine! Let’s just take some of the pressure off Jalen (Hurts), get the ball to AJ Brown, let him make some plays. We’re paying him a bunch of money, we can’t get rid of him, and he is really talented.’ But it’s not really who the Eagles are and it’s throwing everybody out of rhythm trying to get this one guy some touches.”
