AOC Distances Herself from Hakeem Jeffries Primary Challenger Osse

As reported at Fox News, US Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) is distancing herself from Democratic Socialist Chi Osse, the far-left candidate who will primary House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries. So supporting NYC Mayor-elect Mamdani was OK, but not Osse. I guess there are only so many socialist allowed in the kitchen.

Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez is distancing herself from a far-left effort to primary House Democratic Leader Hakeem Jeffries this week.
Ocasio-Cortez's comments came after New York City Council member Chi Osse announced an effort to unseat Jeffries in the 2026 primary.
A close confidant of NYC Mayor-elect Zohran Mamdani who he asked not to run.
The New York City lawmaker initially told reporters that she was "not aware" of Osse's challenge.
AOC said, "But I certainly don't think a primary challenge to the leader is a good idea right now."
